![]() You have to establish what the problem is in the beginning. I don't think establishing the problem at the beginning means the series can't go far. Shows where all the secrets are out in the first show don't go far. I was surprised they revealed as much as they did. If they stuck to the book(s), it'd be a mini-series and be over. They are trying to give the series legs so it can last several seasons. I have other more minor objections, but that makes me wonder what in the world they're doing. Maybe they plan to explain it later, but it seems pretty weird that Evpuneq nccneragyl qvqa'g zrzbevmr gur Obbx bs Pbhagrq Funqbjf, naq gurer'f orra ab zragvba bs gur Obkrf bs Beqra. Why Richard is the Seeker, why he needs to be the one to stop Rahl, and how they are going to do that is all completely unclear from the premiere. It did not stick close to the first book at all. So anyhoo I'm looking forward to the next showing. And at times even remorse isn't easily portrayed. But that could just be character development (kind of like the anime 'The Twelve Kingdoms'). I was disappointed in the Seeker's lack of taking professional advice or showing remorse when the Wizard got injured from saving him from the shadow spirits. save on man power and you'll usually get more efficient end results) (just a theory of course) (though on a serious note they should of just wiped out the whole village. He wastes resources, ie killing that guy who failed to kill Seeker during birth. Stupid villagers, after their continual actions (fear is a weak excuse after certain points) I saw them as reasonable fodder.Īnyway its pre-written so I guess I can't expect things to go certain ways. There are people who I'd be happy to kill if given the legal capabilities to do so (Don't worry they're poor excuses of humanity anyway) but even I would know and accept assumptions of them not doing something as was done with the step-father. Since this is all pre-written I guess I can't expect much out of that village or his step brother. it reminded me of what Yoda might have said if he had expected ObiWan to train Luke sort of 'WTF have you been doing'. My first impression when he was talking to the chicken was of Charlie the Unicorn and than that nude scene clenched it that I liked the character and the neat thing is the character (tv) shares my views in regards to phrophecy. I was worried that I might ditch it like Knight Rider, I kept thinking about the TV series Roar but I reminded myself I couldn't give it a proper chance since I didn't start at the beginning, but once the wizard came on I started to noticably enjoy it. ![]() had to look it up and it's on small station / one of the smaller to medium networks here in Seattle. There was web advertisements and I first assumed it would be on one of Disney's channels (ABC, ABC family) but. ![]() ![]() Amazingly finding out about the show was a bit of a trial. So I had the benefit of just having the hope of enjoying it. ![]()
